Popped in for a pint and a pizza. Two ladies serving us today (monday) approx 2pm were brilliant, really welcoming which is important when you are a tourist. Pizza was a solid 9/10, fries again a solid 9/10. Excellent experience for us and the dog.

A nice country pub ticked away in a small hamlet. The food was delicious all round, so I barely got any pictures. . Would highly recommend if you're wanting top of the range pub food. Maybe add a few more actaul cake desserts, though.

Really worth a visit. Lovely log fire old style smell. When you go inside this beautiful pub. Food quality was so much higher than the cost suggested. We had Gammon, fish pie, a cod in cream sauce and my fav Steak n Ale pie which was just amazing. Add on some garlic bread and our bill was approx 75 . For those sunny days the outside spaces are stunning with a river flowing right through the grounds which has seating next too. This is a must visit and the staff will deffo make you feel welcome. Thank you for a lovely meal!

Awesome! Sorry it’s the finished plate... That was the cod supreme, and it was perfect. We also had clean plates for the pork chop, steak and the pizza. The team are super friendly and happy to help. Great experience, we’ll be back

Really really lovely experience. Last minute decision to go out for my mums birthday, they fitted us in without a booking. Service was amazing from Pauline, she was really lovely! The food was incredible - My parents had the pies and I had a pizza, it was all so so good! Thank you so much

This is such a wonderful pub with excellent staff, great food and a real cosy vibe. We stopped off here one late evening after a long day of site seeing and driving. The lights were warm and not too bright and there was a lit fire keeping the place toasty, that's me sold immediately. The staff were really friendly and happy to chat with you. The menu had some great choices, a lot of which is home made. Proper pub grub, steak and ale pie, etc, homely hearty stuff, it was great.

We had a wonderful meal (again!) at The Copley Arms. I phoned to book-the guy who answered was really friendly and helpful. We had our Labrador with us, so we were booked into the bar area, which was lovely and very spacious. We could also have eaten outside if we preferred, but the weather wasn’t great. The drinks were great-lovely quality New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc! The starters were delicious and all 5 of us ordered different main courses-pigs cheek, cod, fish pie, burger and pork chop. All were beautifully cooked and presented. We will definitely be back-thanks for a lovely meal and dining experience.
